John Parrish, retired partner, continues to serve Keller and Owens, its staff and its clients as the Director of Special Projects. His responsibilities include assisting the firm with the maintenance and development of technical and training materials for use by professional staff as well as clients and friends of the firm. This includes overseeing the annual tax and finance seminar for nonprofits, selected webinars, and email newsletters, among other things. John also assists the principals with client relations, consulting, marketing, practice management, and quality control projects as needed.
John is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. John has over fifty years of experience in public accounting and business including time served as a partner in an international public accounting firm and as the financial vice president and treasurer of a multi-entity publicly owned company.
