I am grateful that I get to spend each workday combining two of my passions . . . auditing and non-profits. My work helps my clients and their donors and other stakeholders feel confident in their financial reporting so they can focus on achieving their worthy missions. To me, there is no more fulfilling profession.
Chris Dettke is the manager of our Assurance Services department and a Certified Public Accountant.
Chris has over fourteen years of public accounting experience with local and national firms as well as a Masters of Accountancy from Kansas State University. Her experience includes serving numerous not-for-profit, government and for-profit organizations. She currently supervises audit and other assurance engagements performed for our clients.
Brian Cyre, CPA

Brian has over twelve years of experience in public accounting specializing in tax and audit services to a variety of clients. He also has extensive graduate level training, especially in taxation of individuals, not-for-profits, and partnerships. Brian serves our clients in both the areas of audit and tax.
Leora Smith, CPA

Leora has over ten years of experience in public accounting and many years of experience working for various not-for-profit organizations in accounting and financial services. She has spent over five years with Keller & Owens, serving clients in providing assurance services for churches, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.
Philip DeRocher, CPA, MA

Philip has over five years of public accounting experience performing attestation services for a broad range of clients and across many industries, including not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. He has been with Keller & Owens since 2009.
Ryan Martin

Ryan joined Keller & Owens in the fall of 2008 and has public accounting experience with a couple of local Kansas City CPA firms. He specializes in providing tax and audit services to a variety of clients and currently serves our firm in both areas.
Terri Bachtel, CPA

Terri joined the audit department of Keller & Owens in 2011 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in public accounting serving clients in the areas of financial services, employee benefit plans and not-for-profit.
Tiffany Rogers, CPA, MBA

Tiffany has been with Keller & Owens full-time for over twelve years in addition to serving as an intern while receiving her undergraduate degree. Her current focus includes the areas of tax and auditing with a specialization in employee benefit plans, HUD audits, student financial aid audits, and other government compliance audits.
