Tax Accountant
We are looking for an experienced tax accountant for our Overland Park, Kansas, office. The individual must possess strong communication skills as well as proven abilities in a variety of tax disciplines. Our firm prepares income tax returns in a paperless environment using state of the art tax preparation software. We also provide a variety of tax planning services.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 990, 709)
- Contribute to tax planning engagements
- Complete research and planning projects
- Maintain commitment to professional and personal development

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- CPA designation or CPA candidate preferred
- 2-5 years of recent Public Accounting experience
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns is required; experience with 990 tax returns a plus
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and work well in a team environment
- Strong tax software skills (Prosystem fx or CCH Axcess Tax experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
